This campaign was carried out to create awareness on Girl Child Education. Many personalities joined FAME Foundation on this awareness it is also an avenue where many girls were given scholarship from many schools.

Above image shows One of the recipients of our scholarship for the girl-child under the #1girl1pen campaign, a 13 year old girl was impregnated by a 40 year old man, we have worked together with her school and NAPTIP to lock him up since the middle of last month, he will be in court this month as we are working hard to get justice for the girl who is already 5 months gone and not aware shes even pregnant until last month. The man sleeps with her with just N20 N50, poverty is a disease…..So sad We will be having a solidarity visit to her on Thursday by 10:45am Already two members of the FAME VOLUNTEERS ASSEMBLY @famevolunteersassembly have pledged to be giving her 5k each making 10k per month till she put to bed for antenatal and feeding. The girlchild needs help…. We’re yet to decide if she will put the baby up for adoption as we don’t want her studies to stop, she’s very brilliant.
