Aims and objectives
To operate skills acquisition centers towards the goal of poverty alleviation.
To empower abused, estranged and less privileged women and young girls with skills and education/counseling to fend for themselves and make a living.
To formulate policies and programs, within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women in the society.
To Promote peace development and unity among women in various communities.
To solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic well-being of vulnerable/disadvantaged women and girls.
To promote transparency and accountability in governance and respect for human rights and the rule of law.
To provide succor to girls women and vulnerable children
To sensitize the girl and women on proper conduct and discourage them from violence and other social vices
Mission and Vission
We are established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programs within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
Fame foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
In partnership and collaboration with other NGOs, government and international agencies, we are determined to improve the appalling economic situation of the girl child, and women. Furthermore, to encourage self worth through sustainable dynamic initiatives and programs.
Aderonke Ogunleye-Bello is the Executive Director at FAME Foundation. She is an international journalist of repute, passionate gender rights advocate and a Sports for Development Enthusiast.
She has obtained certificates from different educational institutions, including University of Ibadan, currently studying Peace Studies and Conflicts Resolution at a Nigerian University – a budding Women, Peace and Security Expert.
She has won numerous awards and received accolades as a journalist and gender advocate.
She is a 2019 Alumni of Global Sports Mentoring Programme, GSMP, an initiative of the US department of states. She founded FAME Foundation in 2017 and enjoys reading biographies, watching documentaries and volunteering email@example.com
Anna Mambula is the Programme Manager at FAME Foundation, Abuja. She facilitates trainings and manages programs and projects organised by the organisation. She is passionate about striking a balance in all core areas of women and girls. She studied at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where she gained a Bsc in Human Anatomy.
Teaching girls school work and life-skills as a volunteer makes her understand the gap in our society, and as a strong advocate of gender equality, she believes any society which empowers both genders will mine its potentials to the fullest.
Oluwatoni Fawole is a Junior Programs Analyst at FAME Foundation, Abuja. She is an experienced analyst with a passion for innovation and technology, gender equality and quality education.
Oluwatoni She is a graduate of English Language and Literary Studies at the University of Ibadan. She enjoys content writing and proffering solutions to problems. Her volunteering experience opened her to view herself as a privileged young lady and hopes to extend some of the opportunities she has enjoyed with other young women like her. Goodness Temidayo Garba is the administrative officer/Intern at FAME Foundation.
She is a student of Federal University of Technology Minna, studying Telecommunication Engineering and currently the Vice President, of her school department. Aside from being an aspiring engineer, she is passionate about the advancement of girls, girl’s right advocacy, leadership, entrepreneurship and love raising her voice towards achieving gender equality.
Working with FAME Foundation has improved her horizon and has exposed her to various opportunities, programs, and event where she can give back to her society.
Folake Oyebade is the Lead Volunteer and Community Mobilisation Officer at FAME Foundation. She is a first aid trainer and a certified Child Protection Policy expert.
A member of the Nigerian Red Cross, passionate about Women and Girls development with bias for the grassroots and vulnerable persons. She is a graduate of English Language at the Obafemi Awolowo University. She enjoys singing, public speaking and volunteering for rewarding causes.
Miracle Oluwafemi is the Junior Analyst, Legal and Partnerships at FAME Foundation.
She is a Law Graduate from Ajayi Crowther University. A Passionate Women and Girls advocate who also possess a certificate in Humanitarian Studies
Adewale Damilola Boluwatife is a Programme Officer at FAME Foundation, Abuja.
She assists in facilitating training and projects organized by the organisation. She is concerned about putting an end to all forms of discrimination against women and girls, which is crucial for attaining a sustainable future for all.
She holds strongly to the belief that ability is not defined by gender. She is a graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun State, where she obtained Higher National Diploma in Mass communication, etc. and also how, when and why to use them
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman (rtd), mni FNIPR fapra, is a public relations consultant based in Abuja. He owns the PR firm, Mahangi Communication Service.
He is also a consultant director, Corporate Affairs and Information at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
Usman is credited with the transformation of public relations practice and strategic communication in the Nigerian Army.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and a Master of Arts degree in Media, Peace and Conflict Studies from Bayero University Kano and the United Nations Mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), San Jose, Costa Rica respectively.
He was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1991 and rose to the rank of Brigadier General before he voluntarily retired in February 2019. In the course of his military career, he has held command and staff appointments at various formations and units of the Nigerian Army and has had two peacekeeping tours in Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and Eritrea. Until retirement, he was the Director Army Public Relations.
Juliana Taiwo-Obalonye, is Assistant News Editor with The Sun Newspapers, and the State House Correspondent for the media outlet 2010 till date.
She started her journalism career on August 1, 1996, as a page planner with THISDAY Newspapers, a widely circulated National daily, published by Leaders and Company Limited in Nigeria. She is passionate about human interest and development journalism
Juliana is skilled in Investigative Reporting, Storytelling, News Writing, Strategic Planning, and Editing.
She is a strong media and communication professional with a B.Sc. (Hons) Mass Communication (2004) focused in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State
Ms. Victoria Minaise Chairperon is a Nigerian with Lebanese Origin. She was born in Kano Nigeria and lives in Abuja.
Ms. Victoria founded Cafe De Vie Abuja in 2015, a place where culturally-diverse people can embrace the aroma and good taste of authentic coffee and mouthwatering delights; and feel at home.
She is a Director at M&M Limited; a private limited liability company with a diverse portfolio of investments in construction, real estate , security consultancy, VIP concierge and facility management.
Ms. Victoria is a graduate of KLC School of Design and the Director at VAZ Design Concepts Limited. She is also a Philanthropic and a Yoga certified instructor since 2016.
