FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
Why wait curriculum is a programme designed to educate children on their sense of belonging in the society. This curriculum is targeted at primary school pupils to teach them life skills such as family relationships, grooming, communication, etc. and also how, when and why to use them.

The why wait curriculum training for teachers took place at the IBI foundation Wuse Zone 2 on 2nd August , 2019. 19 trainees participated at the 3-day seminar with Miss Folake Oyebade, Global coordinator FAME volunteers and Mrs Aderonke Bello, CEO/Founder FAME foundation as the trainers.

The teachers are expected to transfer the knowledge acquired at the training to school pupils on a weekly based assignment.
