FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
The International body has set aside the 11th October every year as a day to globally celebrate the girl child. This years’ International Day of the Girl was theme; “Empowering girls for a brighter tomorrow”. FAME foundation, which sets out to promote a better living in women and girls was not left out of the celebration.
FAME foundation in commemoration of the IDG2019 empowered over 100 secondary school girls across different schools within the FCT. The conference tagged, “Girl Boss Conference” which took place at the Exhibition Pavilion, Garki, Abuja on 7th October, 2019 by 11 am brought together speakers and dignitaries from different spheres of profession including the popularly known actress, Tontoh Dikeh.
