About Us
FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society. FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.

The international day of the girl child 2018 themed, ” With Her; A Skilled Girl-force” was celebrated internationally on the 11 October, 2018.
FAME foundation which sets out to promote a better living in the lives of women and girls celebrated this day with school girls at LEA primary school, Kubgo Abuja by 11 am. The event featured a mentorship session between the school girls and FAME volunteers on issues concerning the girl-child from her self esteem and confidence and her importance towards the growth of the nation.
Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Bagudu; first wife to Kebbi State Governor and Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Abacha were our special guest at the event.
