In Nigeria it is common for rape to go unreported but with the rising rate of rape cases reported since the global lock down due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the corresponding raging outburst on the internet, more Nigerians are becoming aware of the alarming rate of rape cases in the country.

All genders have being reported to experience the brutality of rape but women and girls are still the most vulnerable of both. They are either questioned about their dressing, being at the wrong place at the wrong time or accused of making up claims of rape.

With the sole objective of creating more awareness against rape culture and raising funds for victims of Rape, FAME foundation is organizing a ‘Hiking Against Rape” event scheduled to hold on July 4, 2020 by 6:30am at Gwarinpa Hills, Abuja with Berger Roundabout as the take off place.

We are selling Tshirts for N10, 000 each and End Rape face mask for N5, 000, End Rape face cap is N5, 000

Other donations for these families will be highly appreciated.

Wearing of mask is a must. Event will be covered by the Nigerian media.
