FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
In Africa, women have always being considered as the weaker or inferior species of both gender and the most unappreciated in relation to the male gender. My honest opinion is that women are the backbone of major areas in our society and there non existence equals the extinction of the human race.
I can’t help but wonder why we add to their burden by abusing their rights and disregarding their significance in our lives and the society at large. Despite all these, women still go beyond their societal limitations and achieve great exploits.
Today we shine our lights and raise our flag to celebrate few of the women who have made us proud and are still encouraging other women.
