FAME Foundation is happy to announce that Mrs. Daramola Onyeka Martina, who was abducted inside her residence, on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, has returned home to her family safe and sound.
Mrs. Daramola Onyeka Martina, a Special Education Teacher with Government Secondary School, Kuje, Abuja, was taken away at gunpoint after her abductors gained access into her residence through the back door using a sledgehammer to destroy her door. Contact was established with her abductors with them demanding N10 million as ransom.
FAME Foundation had earlier put out a press release, on June 11, 2021, demanding the Government and public to address the worrisome issue by ensuring the safe return of Mrs. Daramola.
We appreciate all those involved in her safe release and encourage more of such efforts in making our country a safer place for its citizens.
