FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
FAME Foundation held her weekly HerSTEM training on September 10, 2021, at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Maitama, Abuja
Total attendance was twenty-five participants, one teacher, one sign language interpreter, one volunteer, two ad-hoc staff, two interns, two FAME Staff.
Before the classes started, participants were served breakfast.
The class began at 10 am as the training on graphic design continued. The participants were lectured on how to measure, resize, and choose the perfect measurement for each design dimension.
He further taught participants how to design a complementary card and then assigned them to design a complementary card for their desired business. This class exercise was to ensure participants practice what they are learning.
The class came to an end after the participant’s designs were analyzed and corrections effected during submission.
Afterward, lunch was served.
The next class is scheduled for September 17, 2021.
