FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
UNOAU is in the process of publishing “She Stands for Peace” e-book to recognize African women and women networks who have contributed to peace and security in Africa and to document their lived experiences.
UNOAU is looking for stories from all the five sub-regions of Africa.
Your assistance is required for the nominations and in sharing the call for nomination to your networks to provide us names of African women or women networks in the sub-regions of Africa you are working and whom you may recommend to be included in the e-book.
The call for applications and the application form is available in English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Swahili, Hausa, and Amharic languages.
Deadline for nomination is 30th September 2021.
