President Muhammadu Buhari says he remains with Nigerian women as they observe the 16-day activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

The campaign began on November 25 (International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women) and will end on December 10 (World Human Rights Day).

The Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen was received by Buhari at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday.

He stated that women are the bedrock of the general public and to a great extent responsible for balancing out the home front.

The President said his confidence in their ability stays immovable as exemplified by the key positions they possess in his administration.

Tallen briefed Buhari on enlightenment exercises of her ministry towards the international campaign against GBV.

She gave the President with commemorative things to mark his relationship with women.
