Become a Partner: Economic Empowerment For Women And Girls

Economic empowerment is the capacity of women and men to participate in, contribute to and benefit from growth processes in ways that recognize the value of their contributions, respect their dignity and make it possible to negotiate a fairer distribution of the benefits of growth. Economic empowerment increases women’s access to economic resources and opportunities, including jobs, financial services, property, skills development, and market information.

Women’s economic empowerment is a prerequisite for growth and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Investing in women’s economic empowerment sets a direct path toward gender equality, poverty eradication, and inclusive economic growth.

For grassroots women or those from economically weaker backgrounds, manual labor is still the available work. Rural women’s access to empowerment has an impact on their potential to benefit from income-generating opportunities and improve their overall well-being.

FAME Foundation, through its Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls Project, is partnering with VZ Creations to train women in the vocational skill – Fashion Designing. Beneficiaries will be trained in pattern drafting, cutting, illustrations, sewing, and fashion business to help them have a source of livelihood.

However, we are open to receiving support and donations – sewing materials and equipment to help us facilitate the training.

Your support and donations would enable us to train additional women in fashion design. Women empowerment is important to nation-building, and we would love you to join us to empower more women.

We are also open to partnering with businesses, organizations, or companies to empower rural in other vocational skills.

Kindly contact us via 09070051404 or info@famefoundationwg.org if you are interested in supporting the project.

We look forward to receiving your support and donations.
