Star Football Superfans Show Host Mozez Praiz to Judge National Breakdance Championship Finale
FAME Foundation announces Mozez Praiz, as one of the judges for the National Breakdance Championship Finale, a thrilling sport /entertainment event slated to take place in January 14, 2024, at the Indoor Stadium Hall, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Mozez Praiz AKA GreyBoss, an outstanding Sports Journalist, Compere, Model, Actor and a multi-award winning Sportscaster who is the current host of AFRICA SPORT ON; SuperSport’s only multisport and entertainment magazine show.
He joined SuperSport in 2006 and has presented the Barclays Premier League, La Liga, Serie A,Bundesliga and NPFL.
He was SuperSport’s field reporter for Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 and went on to present the 2019 AFCON tournament live in the SuperSport studios, as well as anchor the AFCON magazine show, Master Plan in South Africa.
Other confirmed Judges for National Breakdance Championship Finale include Nadine Messias, aka Bgirl Flavor Roc, from Bordeaux, now a Toulouse resident, a breakdance judge and founder of Learn And Break dance school.
With a rich history in international battles, she’s won titles like IBE in 2005 and BOTY in 2007. Nadine travels globally for workshops and judging- South Korea, Singapore, Dubai, Mauritius, Guyana, etc among others.
In 2012, she co-founded LAB with B.boy Nas, contributing to Toulouse’s hip-hop scene. Her solo show, “Un pas dans mabulle,” combines humor and dance, touring various festivals.
Funsho Olokesusi (Coachie) is a teacher. He is passionate about excellent delivery, impact and Character moulding. He founded the Compass Dance Ministry, Pro dance Incubator Services, Funsho Olokesusi School of Contemporary Dance as well as Co-founded The Relevé School of Dance and Music.
He is a pioneer in the dance Education Sector as well as spear headed projects and research that caused a revolution in the dance industry in Nigeria.
Funsho evolved from managing a dance troupe to publishing dance journals to blogging then going into entertainment Sports(Cheerleading). He was one time National Cheer Coach under the Cheerleaders Association of Nigeria. He sits on the board of many ART based organizations within and outside Nigeria
Chijindu Victor Chize, widely known as Bboy JC, is a multifaceted individual who excels as an organizer, promoter, B-boy, creative facilitator, and hip-hop educator. He utilizes his diverse skills as tools to foster personal growth, create opportunities, and inspire young people to lead purposeful lives.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Bboy JC serves as the Director of the Dance Academy at the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN), where he also works as a dance instructor. With over 15 years of experience in community organizing, he has leveraged hip-hop elements to drive meaningful change, impact skills and knowledge through workshops, promote team building, facilitate cultural and perspective shifts, and organize community events and activities. His expertise extends to designing effective programs tailored to the needs of young individuals. He is currently the President of Association of Nigerian Breakers (ANB)
Nzemeke Franklyn Peter popularly know as Stylish Pizaro is a multiple award-winning dancer/bboy. Member of 619 Crew (Winners of the Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria 2022). A performer and choreographer with over ten years of experience as a professional dancer in breaking and active competitor. He is also the winner of BOTY Nigeria 2014, 2016, 2019 & 2022 with 619crew, IDO 2017 with 619 crew as the first and only bboy crew to win the IDO street dance battle, Bboys Change Factor 2021 with 619 crew.
The National Breakdance Championship returns for its finals after qualifiers in five Nigerian states produced 32 outstanding finalists, sealing their spots in the upcoming championship Finale.
The event is organized by FAME Foundation in partnership with the French Embassy in Nigeria.
This event aims to empower the youth through sports under the PLAY it DREAM it Initiative, strengthening the inclusion of young people and vulnerable people through sports, will inspire and teach valuable life skills to young people, particularly those that are consistently underserved, excluded, or economically disadvantaged.
