Arabinrin Aderonke Atoyebi, Executive Director of the Nigerian-based not-for-profit organization, FAME Foundation, has been awarded the prestigious Sports Positive Award 2024. Arabinrin Aderonke who was shortlisted alongside other distinguished personalities including Super Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong and a nominee from Kenya., received the honor during the event held on October 8-9, 2024, at the Kia Oval in London. She is now globally recognized as the Sports Positive Regional Leader for Africa.
As the Executive Director of FAME Foundation, a non-governmental organization that focuses on using sports as a catalyst for social and environmental change, Arabinrin Aderonke continues to make impactful strides. In a diverse world, bound by different languages and races, sports serve as a powerful unifying force, bringing people together across differences.
Speaking to the press, Arabinrin Aderonke expressed her gratitude to the organizers of the Sports Positive Awards:
