FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.

Heroine Impact Prestigious Merit Award (HIPMA), hosted its 2025 award at Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development, Abuja. This award ceremony is a platform dedicated to recognize women who have demonstrated remarkable leadership, resilience, and community impact across various sectors in Nigeria.
The ceremony was chaired by the President of the National Council of Women Societies, Princess Edna DD Azura, who also serves as Chairperson of the 2025 HIPMA Awards. The occasion was graced by dignitaries, stakeholders, and prominent women leaders from across the country.
FAME Foundation, an NGO based in Abuja, celebrates with its Executive Director, Arabinrin Aderonke Atoyebi, who was honored with the Media Personality of the Year award. This recognition highlights not only her outstanding contribution to the media space but also her consistent advocacy for truth, equity, women empowerment, and social development through communication and journalism.
Speaking to the press, Arabinrin Aderonke expressed her gratitude, stating,
“I am deeply honored to receive this award. It is a recognition of the work we continue to do to amplify underrepresented voices and advance national development through responsible storytelling.”
She extended her appreciation to the organizers of HIPMA for the acknowledgment and reaffirmed her commitment to using media as a force for progress.
The event also celebrated other notable Nigerian women and organisations, including Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, OON, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission; Chief Dr. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Iyaloja General of Nigeria; Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Bago, First Lady of Niger State; AIG Aisha Abubakar Baju, Ph.D; and Arik Air, among others.
