FAME Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to support the assessment and improvement of our programs. The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing M&E frameworks, tracking project progress, evaluating impact, and providing actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement M&E systems, tools, and indicators.
Conduct baseline and endline assessments.
Prepare reports on program progress, evaluation findings, and lessons learned.
Analyse data and prepare reports on program performance.
Provide guidance and training to staff on M&E procedures, tools, and data management.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational goals.
Collaborate with program staff, community members, and stakeholders, to ensure effective M&E processes.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like statistics, social sciences, or public health, along with experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting. Masters degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in M&E for development projects.
Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Proficiency in M&E software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, KOBO, DHIS2).
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
