FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
FAME Foundation is now accepting applications for the HerSTEM programme, from women and girls with disabilities who are interested in STEM courses. The courses include; Microsoft Office, graphic design, Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, and other STEM Courses.
These STEM courses are free, and classes are expected to start in May for six months. Students will be awarded certificates at the end of the training to certify that they have undergone a STEM course.
Requirements
Applicant must be;
Between the age of 10 and 25
Girl or woman living with Disability.
Passionate about STEM, open, and willing to learn
Living within FCT, Abuja
Applicants must adhere to the training rules, policies and regulations.
