FAME Foundation Awards One-Year Scholarships to 10 Girls Through the PLAY it DREAM it Initiative
FAME Foundation has successfully awarded its annual one-year educational scholarships to 10 deserving schoolgirls in Abuja under the PLAY it DREAM it initiative, reaffirming its commitment to girls’ education, empowerment, and inclusion through sport.
On October 10, 2025, the first set of five outstanding girls from LEA Primary School, Apo Resettlement received their scholarships. The award supports their education while equipping them with confidence, leadership, and life skills through sport.
Continuing the program’s mandate, FAME Foundation proudly presented scholarships to the second set of five girls from LEA Primary School, Utako on November 6, 2025. This completes the annual target of supporting 10 girls from different schools across the FCT.
Each year, this scholarship initiative ensures girls remain in school while gaining opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive through sports-based life skills development. The consistent support reflects FAME Foundation’s dedication to promoting access to education, advancing gender equality, and empowering young girls to reach their full potential.
