About Us

FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society. FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.

    Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls
    Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls is a FAME Foundation initiative aimed at empowering rural women and girls with entrepreneurial skills and vocational training and up-skilling for a better means of livelihood, thereby reducing poverty, improving their physical and mental well-being, reducing inequalities, and promoting gender equality in line with SDGs 1, 2, 3, 5,8, and 10.

    Aside from the training, beneficiaries are provided with small start-up loans and/or equipment.
