ORANGElympics is a community-focused advocacy and outreach project delivered in alignment with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The initiative uses youth engagement, public awareness activities, and strategic outreach to amplify conversations around gender-based violence, prevention, and accountability, while leveraging sport as a practical entry point for mobilisation and inclusive community dialogue.
The project integrates outreach visits, school and community engagements, dialogue sessions, awareness walks, and sport-based activities to educate women, girls, men, and boys on the different forms of gender-based violence, challenge harmful social norms, and share information on reporting mechanisms and survivor support services.
ORANGElympics creates safe spaces for women, girls, and young people to speak and learn, while also engaging men and boys as allies in ending violence. Through consistent advocacy and grassroots engagement, the project reinforces the 16 Days of Activism theme and strengthens community ownership of efforts to end gender-based violence.
