About Us
FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society. FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.

Our society sees women as weaker vessels. They have belittled our potentials and discarded our opinions regarding significant matters such as decision making, leadership position and even in family affairs. Little do they know that we are the backbone of the society. Empowered women bring many benefits, to herself and to the larger society.There’s a saying “educate a girl and you educate the society”.
The questions is, who is an empowered woman?.
An empowered woman is a lady that knows who she is, she knows her strengths and weaknesses, her core values and life beliefs. She is one who knows how to use her potential to make a difference in the world. She is authentic and knows how to show up as her best self every day.
An empowered woman understands the concept of self-love. She loves herself and her body. She’s confident in her looks, shape, and size. She knows that the essence of self love is the true recipe of beauty.
An empowered woman is a woman of purpose. She takes steps to discover her life’s purpose and dedicates herself to living in a way that aligns with it. She knows that living her purpose will bring meaning and fulfillment to her own life, while improving the lives of those around her.
An empowered woman is an everyday student in school of life. She never stops learning and is always seeking opportunities to get knowledge because she knows that applied knowledge is power. She invest fully in knowledge and wisdom.
An empowered woman follows her dreams, becomes who she wants to be, achieve her goals without fear, thinks positively, accepts change and believes in herself.
Women don’t need to wait for power to be granted to us. We already have everything we need to unleash our power, claim our rights, and go after our goals and dreams.
