FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
Each month, FAME foundation recognizes a volunteer who goes above and beyond to assist in actualizing organizational goals and objectives.
Our Volunteer of the month of August, Swat Teku began volunteering at FAME in 2017 and since then has given her time and resources for the betterment of women and girls in the communities we reach out to. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Swat believes that, “if each one can reach one, the world would be a better place”. She wants to be remembered for bringing light and lending a helping hand when the world is busy with their own lives and concerns, and also being a source of joy, encouragement and hope to others.
We celebrate and appreciate Miss Swat Teku for her dedication, commitment and passion towards lending a helping hand to those in need.
