FAME foundation was established to solicit, encourage and advance the social, emotional and economic wellbeing of women and girls as well as formulate programmes within the framework of national development plan with a view to enhancing the participation of women and advocate for gender parity in the society.
FAME foundation firmly believe that the entire nation, businesses, communities and groups can benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of women empowerment.
FAME Foundation is excited to continue its commitment to inclusion, education, and empowerment through the HerSTEM initiative. HerSTEM is back this year with the 2025 cohort, designed specifically for women and girls with disabilities who are eager to learn, grow, and access opportunities in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The 2025 cohort will run through three learning stages, (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced), allowing participants to build digital skills step by step, no matter their starting point. This learning experience is practical, inclusive, and mentorship-driven.
This program is in collaboration with the Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS.
Beyond learning, HerSTEM initiative gives participants the chance to connect, ask questions, and find support as they take steps toward their goals in tech and science.
