On June 14, 2025, the Green Ball Project under FAME Foundation carried out a tree-planting activity as part of its broader campaign to combat climate change and promote environmental sustainability. The event, held in Abuja, emphasized practical action and environmental awareness reinforcing the urgent need for climate responsibility.

The planting exercise offered an opportunity to highlight the message of the campaign: that environmental responsibility begins with small, consistent actions. Planting a tree became a symbol of hope for a greener future and of individual and collective commitment to climate justice.

Our Green Ball Project is focused on advocacy and practical interventions that speak directly to the realities of climate change. It targets young people as key actors in climate solutions, offering platforms for them to engage meaningfully in environmental protection efforts. Through past initiatives like climate walks, Climate Education, Awareness and Advocacy Program (CLEAP), and school outreach programs, the project has demonstrated its dedication to awareness creation and sustainable development.
