Hiking against rape is a PLAYitDREAMit initiative, which uses sport as  a tool to promote social change.

#HikingAgainstRape2 kicked off at 7:00 am in a convoy from Berger roundabout,Abuja heading towards Gwarinpa Hills.

Before the commencement of the exercise; a visually impaired advocate, shared with the media on the dangers of rape especially to vulnerable individuals and the importance of campaigning against it.

The objective of the hiking exercise is to create more awareness on the issue of rape and advocate against it. It is also aimed at educating participants on their individual social responsibilities and strategies to curb the occurrence of rape through talk sessions and interactions at the mountain top.

Speakers who are professionals in their field were invited to talk to participants of the exercise.

The hiking exercise  not only promotes healthy living but is also a unique way of engaging individuals in advocacy and campaign for a great cause.
